Beer School Is In At Lewisville Sports BarCalling all College Students! It's back to school time and to prepare you for the upcoming school year, Daddy-O's Pub will give you a brief chemistry lesson about Beer.  With help from Texas A&M Grad and Sam Adams's Senior Brew Master Grant Wood, we're going to give you the Chemistry of Beer and insight to the brewing process at Sam Adams.

No Beer Bottle Opener? Our Bar has Answers!It's the weekend and what's the weekend without cracking open a bottle of your favorite beer to wash away the previous work week.  It is a great that our bartenders have bottle openers but, have you ever though that if you were out fishing, camping, or just plain forgot to bring your "church key"?  What would you do as you stare at the bottle that is beckoning you to open it for its sudsy goodness inside?  Never fear, Daddy-O's Pub is here to help you with this dilemma.  As we browsed the internet, we stumbled upon a video created by Adam Young and Chris Sumers titled "Bottle Cap Blues". Don't worry this is nothing to be sad about! They are going to show you 65 ways to open up a beer bottle!  No kidding!  After watching their video, you will have absolutely No Excuse to say you can't open that bottle of beer.  Plus, you might get a "real kick" out of how they get those beer bottles opened.

The 9 Tease  - Lewisville Bar - 90's Live MusicIt's hump day and time to get your plans going for the weekend. This Live Music Swanky Saturday, June 9th at 9pm, The 9 Tease will be rockin' the house at Daddy-O's Pub in Lewisville. It's going to be a 90's Party that you don't want to miss. We'll have Drink Specials and NO COVER for the night!

The 9 Tease is a band based out of Dallas/Fort Worth that covers 90's music. The band consist of Dave Corley on Guitar and Vocals,Justin Krause on Drums, and Chris Helterbrand on Keyboards. To get you into mood for The 9 Tease this weekend, we'd love to share the Top 25 of the Greatest Songs of the 90's from VH1!

Voodoo Blue - A Tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan - Lewisville Live MusicVoodoo Blue, a Stevie Ray Vaughan Tribute Band, is coming back to Daddy-O's Pub's Live Music Swanky Saturday on June 16th with opening act Blue Jay Soul. Voodoo Blue will be playing all your favorite SRV Hits and more! We'll have Drink Specials and No Cover! To get you ready for the Voodoo Blue concert, Daddy-O's Pub would like to give you a brief bio on the life of Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Stephen "Stevie" Ray Vaughan, born on October 3, 1954 in Dallas, Texas, was an legendary "Texas Blues" guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter. Some of his more popular songs are "Pride and Joy", "Cold Shot", "Texas Flood", "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)" and "The Sky Is Crying", just to name a few. Stevie Ray Vaughan was often referred to by his initials, SRV and known for his intense passion and emotion in his guitar playing with vintage guitars and amplifiers.

Speaking of Bob Marley, let's take a quick look into his influence with Reggae Music and how his music influenced social-political change.

Robert Nesta Marley was a Jamaican songwriter and musician that lived from February 6, 1945 to May 11th, 1981. "Bob Marley" is known throughout the world for making Reggae Music popular and spreading the Rastafari movement. His most notable band was called Bob Marley & The Wailers (1963-1981). They played not only Reggae but also Ska and Rocksteady styles of music.
