It's the begriming of the week and tonight is Karaoke Tatoosday with DJ TStrick at Daddy-O's Pub. We'll have awesome karaoke talent, delicious food, and drink specials to get your week into a party mood. Daddy-O's Pub is a great place to party in Lewisville this Summer and is very close to Lewisville Lake!  Speaking of Parties, another place to party on the Lake is Party Cove! We've discussed "Party Cove" a little bit in our article about the History of Lewisville. Today, we're going to give you a bit more insight on the history of the "Party Cove".

Though there is not much information of when exactly Lewisville Lake's Party Cove started, it didn't get much attention until the early 2000's (around 2003). Lewisville Lake has always been a place to party in the Dallas \ Ft. Worth Area because of it's centralized location in North Texas and the size of the Lake Lewisville.  Party Cove is a secluded area on the lake (near the Corinth shoreline) that is only accessible via water craft (Boats & Jet Ski's).  With this seclusion on the lake, it made the perfect place to have wild parties during the day in the summer months. The cove is pretty laid back and is always packed with people  - two great signs of an awesome large party on the lake. As with any party, alcohol is a major factor and it flows freely throughout the day amongst the partiers. Like most parties, as time goes on, the party becomes wild and turns into Lewisville's own little Marti Gras on the lake. Don't be surprised if you see topless girls and people having the party of a lifetime out there. This is "the norm" for Party Cove!
